The b9855P is a no-compromise solution for premium wheel balancing. The amazing speed, a fully-automated system, and pinpoint accuracy have now combined with the latest in productivity savings and technology.
The b9855P, using VPI imaging balance technology, provides super accurate wheel balance results. Fully automatic inputs remove the chance for error allowed by other systems. The result is a ride performance to satisfy even the most discriminating driver.
Adding to the wheel service value of the b9855P, the optional printer provides documented readings before and after the procedure. Your customers will be able to see the value.

Opti-Line has been developed to measure and minimise tyre conicity. Unlike most of the competition the BFH 1000 is capable of handling wheels with directional tyres. Using our software, it is possible to mount a wheel on a vehicle to minimise conicity side-effects. When combined with John Bean’s "Balance a Set of Tyres" feature, Opti-Line provides a solution to a pull problem on a car that cannot be fixed by a wheel aligner.
In order to measure the tyre conicity, the outer tyre surface is scanned by the rear laser and the result is calculated into a pull index. After four wheels have been measured, the balancer proposes the best position for each wheel on the vehicle in a way that the wheel pull index on each axle is reduced. After a measurement of a wheel the pull index of the wheel is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
The maximum time required for the complete operation is only 60 seconds per wheel, so in less than one minute the operator has all information available on the wheel.
Set of Wheels Screen
After the wheel has been saved to the set, a clear indication is shown that it is loaded in the set, and whether it is a wheel with a directional tyre or not. The wheel is then marked by attaching the red tag with number 1 to the valve stem of the wheel. As soon as two wheels with directional tyres are loaded for the same side, it is no longer possible to load any further wheels to this side. When the fourth wheel has been measured the "Set Of Wheels 4" screen will be displayed. When the fourth wheel has been entered, the balancer will automatically show which wheel is mounted to the correct position on the vehicle.
The Benefits of Opti-Line*
- Helps to improve the ride performance and pull problems that cannot be fixed by proper wheel alignment.
- Eliminates multiple tyre rotations to re-position tyres and reduces road tests significantly.
- Measures a pull index (tyre conicity) of the wheel & proposes in which position on the car the wheel should be mounted.
- Capable to handle any kind of wheels including wheels with directional tyres.
- Possibility to choose the location of the wheel on the car among best performance in terms of pull or vibration present on the steering wheels.
- Location of driver’s position in the car (right-hand or left-hand side) can be set via service code.
- Enhances straight-ahead steering stability of the vehicle.
