In the BALANCE ONLY mode, CCD optics and lasers automatically input distance, width, diameter, identify wheel type, count and record spoke position, all in just 15 seconds. Weight recommendations, clip or tape are automatically determined and tape weight behind the spoke placement is indicated automatically via a laser dot.
Special diagnostics software will measure tyre and rim run-out and make match recommendations for a fast one step "break and turn" solution using just an additional 15 seconds. All data is displayed on a colour TFT screen for fast errorless operation. For technical assistance, multi-lingual extensive on-board HELP is just a key press away.

By recommending lower weight amounts to remove sufficient vibration from a tyre and wheel assembly, WeightMiser offers tremendous savings.
How does it work?
When in the WeightMiser mode, software determines the possibility to reduce static and dynamic imbalance below the given thresholds using a single weight. If a single weight approach is feasible, then a single weight is recommended. If not, two-weight balancing is recommended with amounts remaining lower than precision balance recommendations.
WeightMiser also features a Weight Savings screen. This screen is a counter that tracks WeightMiser savings. It accepts input for dollar amounts on the cost of tape and clip type weights (by the pound) and runs daily and cumulative totals, for instant reviews of your savings!
Opti-Line has been developed to measure and minimise tyre conicity. Unlike most of the competition the BFH 1000 is capable of handling wheels with directional tyres. Using our software, it is possible to mount a wheel on a vehicle to minimise conicity side-effects. When combined with John Bean’s "Balance a Set of Tyres" feature, Opti-Line provides a solution to a pull problem on a car that cannot be fixed by a wheel aligner.
In order to measure the tyre conicity, the outer tyre surface is scanned by the rear laser and the result is calculated into a pull index. After four wheels have been measured, the balancer proposes the best position for each wheel on the vehicle in a way that the wheel pull index on each axle is reduced. After a measurement of a wheel the pull index of the wheel is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
The maximum time required for the complete operation is only 60 seconds per wheel, so in less than one minute the operator has all information available on the wheel.
Set of Wheels Screen
After the wheel has been saved to the set, a clear indication is shown that it is loaded in the set, and whether it is a wheel with a directional tyre or not. The wheel is then marked by attaching the red tag with number 1 to the valve stem of the wheel. As soon as two wheels with directional tyres are loaded for the same side, it is no longer possible to load any further wheels to this side. When the fourth wheel has been measured the "Set Of Wheels 4" screen will be displayed. When the fourth wheel has been entered, the balancer will automatically show which wheel is mounted to the correct position on the vehicle.
The Benefits of Opti-Line*
- Helps to improve the ride performance and pull problems that cannot be fixed by proper wheel alignment.
- Eliminates multiple tyre rotations to re-position tyres and reduces road tests significantly.
- Measures a pull index (tyre conicity) of the wheel & proposes in which position on the car the wheel should be mounted.
- Capable to handle any kind of wheels including wheels with directional tyres.
- Possibility to choose the location of the wheel on the car among best performance in terms of pull or vibration present on the steering wheels.
- Location of driver’s position in the car (right-hand or left-hand side) can be set via service code.
- Enhances straight-ahead steering stability of the vehicle.
